ERGONOMIC SOLUTIONS FOR MANUAL BAG HANDLING

Bag handling operations often involve a significant physical effort. With prolonged repetition, bag lifting can cause musculoskeletal disorders and other occupational diseases.

Manut-LM designs and manufactures in France solutions to assist manual handling, allowing operators to be completely relieved of the weight and the gestures and postures to adopt. These handling solutions, also known as cobotic solutions, are based on in-depth ergonomic studies of the various workstations in order to provide answers to the needs of manual lifting of loads.

The standard imposes a bag weight limit of 25 kg for all manual handling operations. Nevertheless, Manut-LM lifting devices can easily lift bags up to 50 kg.

Paper bag handling

Paper bags are used to package many raw materials and can be encountered in all sectors of activity.
Thanks to a proven suction cup system, Manut-LM eliminates the arduousness associated with handling bags weighing 25 kg and more. The suction cups for bags are rigid and equipped with a gasket to marry the roughness of the bag. A vacuum is therefore created by suction at the load level. The operator can then lift heavy bags without any effort!

Lifting plastic bags

Plastic bags are used to package countless materials. They can be found in the chemical, agri-food or logistics markets.
Lifting plastic bags is often restrictive because it contains often heavy loads. The operator does not have power takeoff for easy handling, and the posture to grab and lift it is often the back.

In order to eliminate MSDs (musculoskeletal disorders) related to prolonged and/or repetitive bag handling activity, Manut-LM offers Manual Handling Assistance Solutions (Cobotics).
